Thoa Pattison, CPA, CA
Principal
Thoa grew up in Vancouver where she graduated from Capilano University in North Vancouver with her Bachelor of Business Administration. She then decided to make the trek up to Whitehorse, Yukon in 2009 to live and start articling for her CA.
Thoa obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in 2013. In 2015, after having her first child, she decided it was time to return home to Vancouver. This is when she happily joined Brian Tipper Inc. as a public practice manager. In June 2024, Thoa will be taking over Brian Tipper Inc’s clients under the firm name, Thoa Pattison CPA and Associates Ltd.
Thoa works with many individuals and small businesses to assist them with their tax and financial reporting needs. She loves working with newly established businesses and watching them grow each year. When she isn’t working, Thoa is an avid crossfitter, can be found out and about with her two kids, found playing some kind of sport, or in the kitchen experimenting with a new recipe.
Fun fact: Thoa also holds a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer certificate.
Simranpreet Kaur
Staff Accountant
Simranpreet is currently pursuing her CPA designation.
Simran is a Staff Accountant and has worked on multiple clients in various industries which includes transportation, law, construction, retail, seasonal, and non-profit organizations.
She has experience in full-cycle bookkeeping, compilation reports, review engagements and tax returns.
During her free time, Simran enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Sukhi M. Chauhan
Staff Accountant
Sukhi graduated from Douglas college in June 2016 with Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a major in Finance.
Sukhi has been working in the accounting field since 2017. Sukhi's experience includes bookkeeping, payroll services, tax preparation, and financial statement preparation. She has worked with multiple clients from various industries such as construction, salon, restaurant, and transportation.
Sukhi plans to continue her studies to become CPA. In her spare time, you can often find her relaxing and watching her favourite series on Netflix.
Jessica Tipper
Accounting Technician
Jessica graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley in December 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting.
Jessica provides our clients with bookkeeping and payroll services, along with financial statement compilations and tax preparation.
When she is not at the office, Jessica takes Irish dance classes and competes throughout North America.
Fameeda Maharjan
Administrative Assistant
Fameeda recently completed her Post Degree Diploma in Marketing Management from Langara College
and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (2017).
With experience in both marketing and administration, she gained a keen understanding of corporate
environments. Discovering her interest in the administrative role she decided to join the firm as an
Administrative Assistant to enhance her skills in the area.
Outside of the office, she is also an intermediate makeup artist and on her spare time she enjoys
dancing and hiking.
